The Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls secured the final two playoff spots on the final day of the season. Indiana defeated the Atlanta Hawks 104-86. Paul George stepped up with 32 points and 11 rebounds to clinch the seventh seed and a match-up with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The eighth seed of the Eastern Conference was clinched by the Chicago Bulls with a 112-73 win over the Brooklyn Nets. Jimmy Butler’s 25 points led the way to secure a matchup with the Boston Celtics in the first round.

Unfortunately, the Miami Heat failed to make the playoffs falling one game short despite defeating the Washington Wizards.
