The Houston Rockets may be in the process of forming a super team as they’ve agreed to acquire superstar point guard Chris Paul. Free agent Paul opted in for another year in his contract so the Los Angeles Clippers could trade him to his desired team of the Rockets. James Harden apparently talked Paul into joining the talented Rockets roster.

The Clippers will get Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Sam Dekker, Montrezl Harrell, Darrun Hilliard, DeAndre Liggins, Kyle Wiltjer, a protected first-round pick next year and cash considerations in return for Paul. There are rumors out about Houston already trying to find a way to acquire Paul George, Carmelo Anthony or another third superstar to contend in the Western Conference.
