The Chicago Bulls and Dwyane Wade have agreed to a buyout allowing Wade to become a free agent as we enter training camp. Wade felt blindsided from Chicago during the offseason when they traded Jimmy Butler after implying they would try to compete. The veteran Wade is looking to end his career in a better situation than rebuilding.
According to multiple reports, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the favorites to land him due to his friendship with LeBron James and a starting spot at SG. Wade is also considering the San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder and a reunion with the Miami Heat. It will be interesting to see where Wade ends up and if he makes a difference.
