The choice of Dwyane Wade to join the Cleveland Cavaliers for the following season has Miami Heat fans upset he didn’t come back to his home franchise. Wade is hoping to contend for another NBA Championship in Cleveland. The desire to return to Miami is still alive as Wade revealed he hopes to retire with the Heat.
“One day I want to retire in a Miami Heat jersey. I don’t know how that will happen, but I definitely want to make sure than when I decide to hang it up, that jersey is on. Whether it’s being back there or signing a one-day deal like Paul Pierce, I want to make sure that I go out the way I came in.”
The safe bet would be Wade signing with the Heat next summer for the final few years of his career.
