The Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a three-team trade that sees Courtney Lee join Charlotte. NBA.com reports the deal went as followed:
Charlotte acquires Lee.
Memphis acquires Chris Anderson, P.J. Hairston and two second round draft picks.
Miami acquires Brian Roberts.
The Hornets will hope Lee makes up for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s shoulder injury ruling him out for the remainder of the season. Miami wanted to cut salary and get an extra shooter on the team. The Grizzlies are dealing with Marc Gasol being out indefinitely by the defensive paint presence of Anderson, as well as looking at Hairston’s potential.
