The Memphis Grizzlies may see Ben McLemore miss the start of next season following surgery on his right foot. McLemore signed a 2 year contract in the offseason worth $10.7 million for the Grizzlies. The injury occurred during a pickup game in Los Angeles.
All estimations of the injury timetable indicate a full recovery would take three months. That would have him back to 100% around the beginning of November. The NBA season starts in mid-October. Memphis is hoping McLemore will be able to contribute and help make up for the losses of Zach Randolph and Vince Carter.
