The Utah Jazz defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 104-91 in Game 7 to win their series 4-3. Utah pulled off the road victory behind the impressive 26 points and 8 rebounds of Gordon Hayward. The Jazz took control of the game in the second quarter and did not have much of a challenge the rest of the game.
Los Angeles losing Blake Griffin to injury for the second consecutive postseason drastically hurt their chances. Chris Paul delivered 13 points and 9 assists in the loss to end another disappointing playoff run. Both Griffin and Paul will be free agents this summer. It will be interesting to see if the Clippers make any changes.
Utah will face the top seed Golden State Warriors in the second round as a huge underdog.
