The Brooklyn Nets have looked much improved this season with the addition of Jeremy Lin at the point guard position. Lin has led the offense by averaging 15 points, 6.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds. The Nets are off to a 2-3 start, better than their lowered expectations entering the season.
Things may have changed for the worse with Lin suffering a left hamstring strain last night in a Brooklyn win over the Detroit Pistons. Nets Daily reports Lin is sitting out the next two weeks before being re-evaluated. Backup Nets point guard Greivis Vasquez is also out due to injury likely giving the starting spot to rookie Isaiah Whitehead.
