J.J. Redick will be a free agent this summer and is likely to leave the Los Angeles Clippers. Another disappointing postseason ending for the Clippers could see them make big changes. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are also on the free agent market and bigger assets making Redick a secondary option.
NBC Sports reports the following about Redick’s status going forward:
“J.J. Redick, who is an unrestricted free agent, is looking to earn $18-20 million per season, according to the officials. The Clippers probably won’t pay that much, the officials said, but the team won’t rule out re-signing Redick for the right price.”
Redick is a great three-pointer shooter which is valuable more than ever today.
