Washington Wizards point guard John Wall and Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns have been announced as the NBA Players of the Week for their superb play on games played Monday, March 6 through Sunday, March 12.
Wall averaged 29.8 points and 11.3 assists per game to lead the Wizards to a 4-0 week. Washington has emerged as the second seed in the Eastern Conference and have the best overall record in the NBA since 2017 started.
Minnesota went 2-1 last week behind outstanding play for their second year superstar. Towns delivered 29 points and 12.3 rebounds per game during the week. The Timberwolves have a long shot at sneaking the eighth seed in the Western Conference thanks to Towns.
