The anti-LGBT law in Charlotte has many wondering if the city should host the 2017 NBA All-Star Game and Michael Jordan gives his two cents. NBA.com reports the Charlotte Hornets released the following statement making it known the organization doesn’t support the law or any form of discrimination.
“We are opposed to discrimination in any form, and we have always sought to provide an inclusive environment. “As has been the case since the building opened, we will continue to ensure that all fans, players and employees feel welcome while at work or attending NBA games and events at Time Warner Cable Arena.”
Jordan is still regarded as the greatest NBA star of all time and his comments are very important for the franchise.
