The NBA fined the Los Angeles Lakers $500,000 for tampering with Paul George while he was a member of the Indiana Pacers. Lakers GM Rob Pelinka apparently spoke to George’s agent and broke NBA rules. A few reports recently claimed Indiana would sue the Lakers franchise.

Pacers owner Herb Simon commented on this matter by denying all claims of this. Simon stated he completely agreed with the NBA’s decision to fine the Lakers. However, the Pacers have no intention to carry this on and just wants to move on.

Indiana is trying to start their life after George after his trade to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
