The Toronto Raptors are likely going to retain the services of power forward Serge Ibaka. Toronto acquired Ibaka before the trade deadline to fill the power forward slot they were weak at. Ibaka will be a free agent this summer but has already verbally agreed to stay in Toronto.
NBC Sports reports Ibaka will get $20 million per season in the new deal he plans this summer. The Raptors would be put in the luxury tax territory if signing both Ibaka and Kyle Lowry to max contracts. Jonas Valanciunas may be the odd man on the trade market if Ibaka gets signed to such a deal.
