The San Antonio Spurs will be without Tony Parker for the first few months of the season after tearing his quadriceps tendon in the playoffs last season. Mixed reports have seen some people expect Parker out until the All-Star break.
Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said the following about his hopes for Parker:
“I think he’s going to be ahead of schedule. I kept thinking he might be ready in January or something. He might be ready in December. He’s come along really well.”
San Antonio will need all the fire power to contend in a loaded Western Conference.
