Stan Van Gundy is taking the blame for his players not performing well.

The Detroit Pistons have reached a low point at the worst possible time of the season. Detroit has lost six out of their last ten games, including a heartbreaking loss to the league worst Brooklyn Nets behind a Brook Lopez buzzer beater. The Pistons currently sit two games out of the eighth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Clutch Points reports Detroit head coach Stan Van Gundy believes he is to blame for the team failing to hold down a playoff spot.

“I think it’s pretty clear from these six games I’m not finding the answers and not doing a very good job.

It starts with me. I’m the person in charge. I selected everybody in that locker room. I’m the one that wanted them in there. I decide who plays. I put lineups out there. I decide on defensive coverages. I call plays.”

The Pistons still have time to make the playoffs but something has to change fast.
