The 40 year old Vince Carter will continue his NBA career for at least one more season with the Sacramento Kings. Carter agreed to a one-year contract with Sacramento to add another veteran presence along with Zach Randolph and George Hill. The Kings are hoping to create a positive atmosphere in the locker room following years of disarray.
Carter made it clear that he wanted to find a situation where he would get playing time and Sacramento provides that. The future Hall of Famer averaged 8 points in 24 minutes per game last season helping the Memphis Grizzlies get to the playoffs. Carter can still contribute and wants to play another two seasons at the very least.
